Winter returns

15th April 2016

It was quite wintry today, new snow fell mainly above 500 metres but light snow flurries fell as low as 300 metres. The fresh wind felt cold coming from the North-Easterly direction. The snowpack is very firm and icy, crampons are highly recommended for venturing above 750 metres.
