Sunshine and showers

19th March 2017

It was a day of rain showers with the odd spell of sunshine the freezing level was above the summits. The snowpack is moist and generally stable with a low avalanche hazard. Snow cover is limited to the higher sheltered north facing corries and mainly above 870 metres.
