Occasional snow showers and the odd sunny spell.

11th March 2019

New snow overnight became showery today, there was a fair amount of wind transport onto North-Easterly aspects mainly above 1000 metres. Best weather was early in the day.

More snow is forecast tonight with a short period when the freezing level will rise above the summits, this will give a period of higher instability before a return to colder conditions. It will be showery through much of Tuesday followed by more persistent snow around evening.
