Remaining cold, plenty snow being transported around.

26th February 2020

A clear start to the day but higher up visibility was a bit variable with the occasional brighter period. There was lots of drifting snow and the skiing at Glencoe Mountain was superb today all be it feeling a but chilly in the winds. The ski patrol made a wise call as always and closed off the Flypaper ski run as there was windslab building on to it from the older snow and new fresh snow which was transported along in the strong winds and lay on the wind sheltered terrain. They reported shooting cracks in the snow pack.

Driving along the road this morning drifting snow was obvious.

Clouds of spindrift high on Meall a’ Bhuiridh.

Brighter at times, great skiing.
