Dry for most of the day

11th March 2022

After some early morning showers cleared, the weather was dry for a few hours before showers returned towards the end of the afternoon. Low cloud at first, lifted above the summits around mid morning giving some good views. Strong Southerly winds continued through the day. A gradual thaw of the snowpack continues, snow is now patchy below 800 metres with better cover above.
