9th March 2011

It had snowed down to valley level this morning although it warmed slightly this afternoon.
Drifts are to be found in any sheltered locations but most aspects have also got very scoured areas as well.

Looking down to the ski area. Excellent ski-ing where there is new snow.

Graupel was noted in the snowpack. This may have an influence on stability if buried in forecasted snow.

Buachaille Etive Mor looks a bit more wintry now.
