After the thaw.

10th January 2013

It was a lovely morning in Glen Coe. However, the cloud quickly started forming around some of the higher peaks, especially those at the top end of the glen. In the end I went up Buachaille Etive Beag. Not much snow about, and what there is if hard and icy. There is also a very light dusting of fresh snow  at higher levels.
Stob Coire nan Lochan this morning.
A small cloud cap on Buachille Etive Mor.
Ten minutes later it had grown somewhat.
A very light dusting of fresh snow at 900m.
Stob Dubh and Coire Sgreamhach behind.
