Avalanche in the mist

Fresh grimy debris below the cliffs of Coire nan Lochan which had flowed over a previous avalanche tip. It had been triggered by cornice collapse and had flowed well down towards the base of the corrie. Also seen (but not photographed) were creep cracks five metres back from the cornice edge – scary stuff!

Not such an inviting day as yesterday – poor visability with shifting mist
