Another day of thaw

Thaw at all levels with the freezing level way above the tops.  The burns were all in spate. A disgruntled mountain hare sped away conspicuous in its white winter coat among the exposed peat hags.  At least the ptarmigan looked the part waddling round in the snow, higher up the hill.
