Enveloping summit clouds

8th February 2015

Today was cloudy especially over the summits the sun did try to break through on occasions. The snowpack is generally firm and often icy on most aspects at all elevations. On Southerly aspects the snowpack is slightly softer but again generally stable. Some localised areas of poorly bonded windslab still exists on North-East to South-East aspects.
