Wild and wet

Good to see that the weather today brought more fresh snow high up rather than serious thaw.  Nevertheless there was a ‘wet zone’ to be negotiated from road level to about 700 metres.

Above that it felt wintry with snow showers, deep drifts of snow in places and fierce gale force gusts of wind.
