Swathes of cloud played round the hills today – the light snow showers in the morning became heavier after mid-day. Â A colder night had firmed up the snowpack however there was enough warmth in the sun to soften the snow surface in the afternoon.

Clear evidence of wind-transported snow on Meall a Bhuiridh
Sloughing, precipitated by cornice collapse under Clach Leathad
Surface cracking on high North facing slopes
East facing cornices on the Clach Leathad/Creise ridge
