A fine morning

5th January 2017

Morning sunlight on the Southern flank of the Aonach Eagach Ridge

A fine cold morning with sunny spells.  There was a covering of hoar frost and plenty of ice had formed on the hillsides.  Snow cover is limited with a very firm surface.  It was starting to get milder by mid-day.

The Northerly flank of Clach Leathad – relatively snowy!
