Mild conditions prevail

19th December 2017

It was 12 degrees celcius when I left the Glen Coe base this morning and 7.6 degrees at 800 metres. The snowpack continues to thaw at all levels and is disappearing fast.

Looking at Stob nan Caber and Stob coire Raineach this morning.

Snow melt flowing off the hill at a fast rate.

Temperature at 800m today!

Poor visibility today.

The 3 sisters of GlenCoe much depleted of snow.
