” Cast not a clout till May be oot “

10th January 2019

Yes another mild day. It was generally dry through the morning with some damp and cloudy conditions in the afternoon. The winds were moderate from a Westerly direction with the summit temperates around plus 1 degree celsius. Very sparse snow cover at present as the photos show. The isolated patches remain in sheltered hollows mainly above 900 metres which are well bonded and stable.
