A wild and windy day

24th March 2019

Very squally and blustery day in Glencoe with frequent showers, these falling as snow above 600 metres. Looking up the glen earlier in the day as one of the showers passing through.

Clear breaks in-between the showers. Looking up to the North-Western flanks of Buachaille Etive Mor with spindrift streaming off the tops of the crags. A tad breezy!

A view into Coire na Tulaich on the Buachaille. There is some very isolated deposits of fresh snow in very sheltered locations but generally the snowpack is well consolidated on all aspects and icy in some places.
