Mild and very Moist
27th December 2019
Rain was persistent this morning turning to driving rain with the strong South-Easterly winds soaking even the most correctly clad folks.
The snowpack in moist throughout with localised wet snow instabilities present on many steep aspects. Areas particularly affected are gully exits, coire rims and steep slopes with North-West through North to East aspects above 950 metres. Cornices above these aspects are weak and prone to collapse. The avalanche hazard is Low.
