Mild and Wet, Drier later.

30th December 2019

Persistent rain fell at all levels through the morning then it became drier and brighter in the afternoon, new snow did not materialise at the time of writing. However, the freezing level did slowly fall to around 1100 metres. West-South-Westerly winds were strong at first easing through the day. Extensive low cloud covered most of the Glencoe hills this morning before clearing to give some partial views.

Its cleared up around 1pm giving a quick view of the summit of Stob Coire nan Lochan 1115 metres…..note the snow cover. Bidean nam Bian capped by clouds.

Early afternoon showed some limited snow cover in Stob Coire nan Lochan.
