Very wet and windy

30th January 2020

Thursday turned out to be stormy with very heavy rain at all levels and storm force South-Westerly winds. Outlook is colder overnight with some new snow  but becoming mild again on Friday with more rain later in the day. Unstable accumulations of snow will exist in sheltered locations such as summit gullies and on Northerly and Easterly aspects mainly above 850 metres. New snow amounts are not expected to be great.
