The Scottish Avalanche Information Service issues information to support permitted activity under current Scottish Government guidance.

A showery day with strong West-South-Westerly winds. The freezing level was around 900 metres.

A dusting of wet snow at 800 metres in Coire nan Lochan.

Not much snow left on the Aonach Eagach.

Avalanche debris in Coire nan Lochan which probably came down during heavy rain on Tuesday morning. Note also the cornices which have survived the recent warm conditions.
