Thawing and Diminishing

It has remained mild with strong South-West winds. The remaining snowpack is thawing and diminishing at all elevations and is generally stable. It is becoming increasingly patchy especially below 850 metres.

A glimpse into Coire Gabhail this morning, Bealach Dearg and the Lost Valley buttresses.

North and East aspects on Buachaille Etive Beag towards 902 metres…

… compared to South and West aspects towards 925 metres.
