Mild and Wet for the last day of the year….
31st December 2021
Dank and mild, fairly wet first thing this morning with poor visibility the South-Westerly winds eased through the day. Not the best of days to end 2021 but quite a few folks were out and about in the hills, ‘happy new year’ to you all.

The patchy snowpack will be present in wind sheltered places, primarily coire rims, gully exits, mainly on North-West through North to East aspects above 900 metres. The avalanche hazard will be Low.
