Another fine day.

17th January 2022

Dry, calm and settled conditions affected the area today. The snowpack remains generally firm with some softening at lower levels and on sun affected slopes, stability is generally good.

Outlook is mainly dry with the odd shower of light rain or drizzle later on Tuesday, winds will be fresh to strong generally Southerly, the freezing level is expected to remain above the summits.
