Mild and damp.

2nd February 2022

Mild conditions today affected the area with light rain and drizzle at all levels. The snowpack surface is soft and moist and is generally stable. Continuing mild and wet conditions overnight and for much of Thursday then becoming colder in the afternoon with some heavier snow showers later.

Stability will remain good for the greater part of the day with localised areas of windslab developing in sheltered locations as new snow lies to lower levels by late afternoon.
