Windy and fresh

Overnight cooler conditions re-froze the snowpack which is icy in exposed locations. A light trace of fresh snow fell on the higher slopes.
Hill snow overnight will lie above 800 metres, amounts are not expected to be great, Wednesday will be mainly dry with the freezing level around 800-900 metres.
Serious consequences exist in the event of an uncontrolled slip or fall on firm, icy slopes.
