Mainly dry with the odd shower

25th January 2023

There was a return to cooler and drier conditions today. Outlook for Thursday is dry and settled with the sun making an appearance. The snowpack will generally be stable in most areas but any remaining cornices affected by solar warming will be suspect. Exposed slopes and ridges at higher levels will be firm and icy in places, in these areas serious consequences will exist in the event of an uncontrolled slip or fall.
