A drier day, and a colder snowpack.

12th February 2023

Overnight the snowpack has firmed up. It remains stable with a Low avalanche hazard level.

Today was a dry day, and with the cooler overnight temperatures, the upper layers of the snowpack are firming up giving a hard neve surface.

A snow free Schoolhouse Ridge, behind Ballachulish.
