Another day of mild temperatures, fresh South-West winds, occasional rain, low cloud and a thawing but stable snowpack.
All change tonight. The forecast is for the temperature to drop overnight with rain turning to snow and then remaining cold for the rest of Wednesday. The existing snowpack will become firm and some areas of fresh unstable windsab will develop. See https://www.sais.gov.uk/glencoe/ for more details.
