Mild and mainly dry.

31st March 2023

Mild and mainly dry conditions with moderate fresh Easterly winds have affected the area today. Visibility was limited initially due to low cloud and mist but this started to clear later.

Outlook is for cooler and mainly dry conditions, the snowpack will start to firm up with the possibility of icy conditions forming on higher exposed slopes, don’t put the crampons and axe away just yet.
