Mild conditions leave patchy snow cover…..

The freezing level has remained well above the highest summits through this period, overnight rain at all levels gave way to a predominately dry, mild day, midday summit temperature was 2.9 degrees celsius. The winds were generally light to moderate from a South-Westerly direction.

Meall a’ Bhuiridh and Creise with much reduced snow cover, but there is much left than first appearances!

Stob Dearg, Buachaille Etive Mor and the start of the Aonach Eagach Ridge on the right.

Northerly aspect of Stob Dearg.

Looking Westwards through Glen Coe.

Stob Dearg and Coire na Tulaich becoming snowless.

Am Bodach on the right with the southerly side of the Aonach Eagach topped the clouds.
