A fine Good Friday……

7th April 2023

Today was a fine spring day with dry, bright conditions. There was a frost last night at all levels this re-froze the moist snowpack producing icy surface layers particularly early this morning. During the warm daytime temperatures the snowpack slowly softened but remained well bonded and stable.

Yesterday evening the high pressure gave clear conditions. Stob Coire nan Lochan on the left with Bidean on the right.
