A Gallery of Mountain Views

5th January 2024

Much improved views today though remaining generally cloudy around the higher summits creating a ‘moody’ atmosphere. Essentially dry and bright with a very occasional snow flurry above 850 metres. Light Westerly winds, the freezing level was around 900 metres. Soft and moist snowpack with a very thin crust above 850 metres.

Continuing dry through tomorrow (isolated light snow showers possible) with moderate Westerly winds. Freezing level around 800 metres. After this high pressure dominates over the country with dry, clear and colder conditions.
