Consolidating

4th January 2024

A cloudy and damp day for touring up high to check out the conditions around the highest summits. Showers falling as snow above 1000 metres, but limited amounts, with moderate South-Westerly winds. Generally moist snowpack with a thin crust and small accumulations of new wet snow.

Slightly cooler tomorrow, showers with limited snow and moderate Westerly winds.

Views into Coire na Tulaich, Stob Dearg

Poor visibility in the snow showers, across the col towards Creise.

A brighter spell with a little new snow, North-East aspect Meall a Bhuiridh.
