A bright morning

11th February 2024

There were good conditions to start the day with a bit of sunshine an patchy cloud, some high and some low. Some of the mountains looked very white but this is mostly a fairly superficial layer of soft snow. There was enough wind around the summits and ridges to be redistributing some of this soft snow mostly onto North and North-East aspects.

In the afternoon the summits were in cloud and there were a few showers falling as snow above around 800 metres.
