Rising temperatures, and a change in wind direction.

28th March 2024

The last few days have seen Easterly winds and cooler temperatures. This morning the temperatures rose quickly to around summit level by the end of the morning. This will help the recent snow consolidate. From tomorrow, we return to a more “normal service”, with winds veering all the way around from East to a more usual South-Westerly direction. Going into the weekend, temperatures will slowly rise, to above the summits by Sunday.
