The freezing level slowly lowering…

Overnight and during this morning mild conditions and strong Westerly winds continued to affect the area.  Around midday the freezing level lowered to around 1100 metres and precipitation gave a light dusting of new snow on the highest summits. More summit snows are forecast for tomorrow.

Looking up and into Stob Coire nam Beith. Patches of snow can just be seen through the clouds.

Aonach Eagach Ridge.

Stob Dearg and Coire na Tulaich, almost snow free.

Patches of snow can be seen near the summit of Stob Dearg.

The sisters of Glencoe, some snow lingering on Stob Coire Sgreamhach.
