Snow showers overnight dry and misty today.

Showers overnight affected the area giving a light general cover of soft snow on most aspects mainly above 800 metres, Icing exists on rocks, paths and in watercourses above 850 metres. .

Outlook is for fresh to strong generally South-Easterly winds with new snow affecting the area mainly in the afternoon. New snow and wind transport of existing snow will form localised unstable windslab and fragile cornices in wind sheltered locations, Expect icy conditions on higher slopes, please check the Avalanche Report which will transition back to including an EAWS hazard rating.

New overnight snow fell during very calm conditions giving a fairly uniform light cover on most aspects.

East Ridge of Meall a Bhuiridh to the rear, more Wintry than of late.
