Dry cloudy conditions
23rd March 2025
After the overnight rain cleared, drier conditions followed for most of the day although many of the the tops remained in the clouds. The freezing level was above the summits overnight and fell to around 1100 metres this morning rising slightly again this afternoon, winds were fresh North-Easterly. Unfortunately all the precipitation was rain in Glencoe and there are no new snow deposits. Only a few old snow patches remain, some of which are shown in todays photos. Rain tomorrow afternoon will lead to further depletion of the remaining snow.
There will is currently insufficient snow for an avalanche hazard and no further avalanche reports will be published for Glencoe unless conditions change. This blog will continue to be updated daily to give mountain conditions information.

Stob Coire nam Beith, there will be slightly larger snow patches on the other side of Stob Coire nam Beith beside Church Door buttress although these remained hidden from view today.
