Mild, misty and damp.

22nd March 2025

Mild conditions with rain and drizzle at all levels have affected the area overnight and today further reducing the limited snow patches which mainly exist in the higher Northerly and Easterly corries and gullies. Light rain will continue to affect the area overnight with a very light trace of summit snow possible, no significant new deposits of snow are expected. The old snow patches may become firm and icy in places and will require care as uncontrolled slips could have serious run outs onto rocks.

There will be insufficient snow for an avalanche hazard and no further avalanche reports will be published for Glencoe unless conditions change. For further information please refer to this SAIS mountain blog, which will continue.
