Spring equinox, sunny again.

20th March 2025

Another fine day in Glen Coe but it looks like change is on the way with milder conditions and the possibility of  light rain at all levels on Friday.

Only limited snow cover remains, mainly as patches in the higher Northerly and Easterly corries and gullies. The snow patches will generally. soften but may remain firm and possibly icy in the more sheltered gullies and hollows where stubborn old snow exists Icy patches may also exist on higher paths, rocks and watercourses. In most cases these areas are avoidable but uncontrolled slips at present have some fairly serious run outs onto exposed rocks.
