Wet snow…

29th March 2025

Last night snow showers fell mainly above 600 metres these continued today on strong South-Westerly winds. The freezing level was around 900 metres at midday but slowly rising. It was generally a pretty dreich day with rain at lower levels and even though it was snowing above 700 metres it was still very wet sticky snow not helped by the driving winds, visibility was also very limited so not a great day for photos. Photos below might give you an indication of the type of day.
