Very mild, wet and windy.

It was 14 degrees celsius in Glencoe village this morning, then at midday on the summit of Aonach Mor (1185 metres) it was  plus 5.1 degrees. Rain fell for most of the day at all levels and the winds were very strong Southerlies.

The Rannoch Moor a gloomy scene.

Stob Mhic Mhartuin the little pointed peak on the right the Devil’s Staircase goes through the shallow v on its righthand side. Sron a’ Choire Odhair-bhig in the clouds.

Looking westwards at Am Bodach and then along the Aonach Eagach ridge.

Gearr Aonach and Aonach Dubh with Stob Coire nan Lochan in the clouds. Plenty of rain water running off these peaks.

Meall a’ Bhuiridh.
