Mild and misty conditions continue.

21st January 2026

Overnight, the freezing level briefly rose above the summits follow by a fall in temperatures and some very light snow fell above 850 metres. Cloudy and misty with some further light snow fall this morning then a mainly dry day. Winds were light South-Easterly. A slow thaw is diminishing the snow cover at lower levels but some icy footpaths hillsides still persist.

A cloudy overcast start to the day. Looking across to Buachaille Etive Mor and Glen Coe.

Plenty of snow melt running off the hills in the mild conditions but still remnants of ice still persisting particularly on paths and hillsides.
