After the Rains… some bright dry weather.
27th February 2026
Colder conditions last night affected the area with some light new snow falling mainly above 850 metres. It was a dry dry morning with the odd light shower in the afternoon. The freezing level fell to around 900 metres, winds were light to moderate from a Westerly direction.
The snow cover is much depleted after the few days of mild conditions and rain at most elevation. The photos below give a flavour of the area now some clear conditions allow.
