Glencoe Gathering…

After a cold night it dawned bright and clear with all summits cloud free with a frost in lower glens. Then some clouds started to appear with a brief snow shower the snow fall was short lived but the clouds lingered over the higher summits with some clearing spells. Freezing at levels with moderate South-Westerly winds the freezing level slowly  rising  through the day to around 700 metres.

 

A frost this morning at Achnambeithach house under Stob Coire nam Beith the West face of Aonach Dubh on the left, An-t Sron on the right.

Starting to clear at around 950 metres.
