Windy with rain, sleet and drifting snow on higher ground.

It was windy overnight and today with rain, sleet and quite deep drifting snow on higher ground mainly above 900 metres. Overnight avalanche event noted on an Easterly aspect. Much of the snow at lower levels has now gone.

Outlook is for mild conditions with the freezing level well above the summits, rain at all levels overnight will decrease by morning then possibly becoming heavier later in the day, check out the report for more details.

West Face of Aonach Dubh, much of the snow at lower levels has now gone.

Looking towards Coire nan Lochan, still plenty of snow in the high corries.
