More Glencoe views

3rd March 2026

Today was brighter than many of the recent days, some cloud during the morning cleared during the afternoon and gave some sunny conditions and good views. The snowpack remains very firm and despite some warmer temperatures and rain on Wednesday is likely to remain reasonably firm in many places. The freezing level is due to fall to around 600 metres again on Thursday and Friday maintaining a firm snowpack for the next few days.

Looking along the Aonach Eagach ridge with patches of snow on the North side. All snow patches were very firm and there were small areas of ice on the path near the top of Am Bodach which may have continued along the ridge.
