Milder conditions overnight with light rain at all levels have reduced much of the recent snow cover at lower levels, a good cover of snow remains in the higher Northerly and Easterly corries where recent drifting has deposited deeper accumulations. It will remain mild overnight with a period of heavier rain in the morning, this will lead to wet snow instabilities on steeper slopes and suspect cornices.
