Overnight snow and drifting in today’s strong winds.

Wintry conditions returned today with very strong winds redistributing last nights snow into wind sheltered locations, mild conditions are set to return  with light rain or drizzle overnight, becoming mainly dry on Tuesday but the freezing level will remain above the summits. Wet snow instabilities will exist on steep slopes and cornices will be prone to collapse.
