A very stormy morning, the freezing level rose above highest summits in this area and persistent rain fell at all levels accompanied by storm force South-Westerly winds. It was not a great day for photography or staying dry! The freezing started to fall again early this afternoon and precipitation fell as snow mainly above 900 metres.
